WHO WAS BIG IN 2006 ON popartpete.com????

PETE has his most successful and prosperous year ever in 2006!

Pete got to throw the ball out at Blueclaws stadium, and that wasn't Pete's only brush with professional sports...

Pete also was seen at the CROCS AVP Volleyball Tour in Seaside Heights (And slave to consumerism and advertising, Pete DID INDEED BUY CROCS IN 2006!)

Pete's Official Birthday photo was taken from the 100 feet above the ground in the bucket truck of Station 44, The Seaside Heights Volunteer Fire Department.

Pete (and nephew Tim) posed with only top celebrities like Survivor Stephenie.

Pete began his latest term on the Seaside Heights Board of Education, which lasts until 2009.

Pete went underway on The Crown Princess, with...

many friends you will recognize.

PETE'S HOLIDAY VENTURES included the adorable bunny family, and...

Boardwalk Easter Eggs, and...

Boulevard snowflakes.

Pete is shown here with Ocean County Freeholder Gerry Little, who checked out the 70 trees we planted in the last year and was very impressed.

Pete, Shannon and Alicia all turned 35 in 2006.

Shannon Omert was BIG IN 2006, starting off the year in tip-top shape, and...

and ended the year back in top shape, even though she had a baby in October.

Loyal readers know we broke the news of Shannon's pregnancy in the summer.

And we followed the story through the fall, and...

although we expected Shannon's baby October 30th...

Miss Rhiannon Asch arrived October 18, 2006.

Kimberle Rolle-Samarelli was BIG IN 2006! (in this photo she is seen with Peter from Peter's Lavallette Florist) It's hard to believe that Kim...

Began 2006 almost 100 pounds heavier.

THE INCREDIBLE SHRINKING WOMAN...Kim in March, and...

Kim in April, and...

Kim (with Kim Pascarella) in June, and...

Kim in July, when she became THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE NEW JERSEY AMUSEMENT ASSOCIATION, and...

Kim in August with Pete and Dawne, and...

Kim in September with Uncle Bob Bennett, Wayne and Iryna, and Pete, and...

Kim on the Crown Princess in October.

WORST LUCK IN 2006, went to "Hurricane Helen", who is seen here getting her car in South Carolina in January 2006.

HELEN HAD FOUR APARMENTS IN 2006! First Helen moved in on Kearney Avenue across from Joann Duszczak, but she didn't like stairs so she moved. Loyal readers may recognize that this apartment was then taken over by...

Pete, who thought it was a great apartment.

Helen then moved to a first floor on Franklin Avenue in March, but...

it fell victim to the flooding that happened on September 15th.

FOR THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER 2006 ONLY, Helen occupied this Webster Avenue apartment, but hated the apartment so much that she moved on November 30th!

HELEN'S LUCK TURNED, when she rented a charming apartment in the rear guest house of 205 Grant Avenue, now owned by Miss Angie Lombardi and friends, but in fact is PETE'S ORIGINAL HOME IN SEASIDE HEIGHTS!

BIGGEST COMEBACK IN 2006 GOES TO AARON DELUCA, who came off five years of Coast Guard duty in Alaska, only to spend most of his free time as a fill-in "manny" to Stephen and Lauren Rumbolo.

Aaron returned to Station 44, where he has been a member since he was 16.

Aaron was featured in Pete's first-ever video posted on his channel on youtube.com, WHICH ITSELF WAS HUGE IN 2006, PROVING AGAIN PETE IS RIGHT UP WITH THE COOLEST THINGS OF THE TIMES!

Aaron was on vacation when Tropical Storm Ernesto visited Seaside Heights, but...

WAS NOT SEEN ON THE CROWN PRINCESS, as he was underway with the Coast Guard that week. Mom Margo DID go on the cruise however.

AS QUICK AS AARON CAME BACK, HE MIGHT HAVE TO GO! Aaron may have to spend a year stationed IN ALMOST COMPLETE ISOLATION at the Loran Radar Facility, located just south of the Arctic Circle in Port Clarence, Alaska. THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST DIFFICULT ASSIGNMENTS THAT COULD BE ASKED OF A UNITED STATES COAST GUARDSMAN!

2006 SAW ANOTHER BIG COMEBACK WHEN THE OVER THE TOP HOLIDAY RETURNED AT DAVE'S CRAZY CHRISTMAS HOUSE!

2006 is even more over the top than ever!

Dave says he put out every single thing he owns, which readers know is more than all the other people you know combined.

NO ROOM AT THE INN on Dave's lawn.

Pete is planning a youtube.com video of the 2006 Dave's Crazy Christmas House.

Pete was glad to see THE COMEBACK OF FAVE 80'S SITCOM GROWING PAINS, which has returned to the air, and can be viewed in Seaside Heights weeknights at both 7 and 7:30 p.m. on Channel 3. (Pete Tivo's it EVERY night)

PETE IS GLAD that fave Growing Pains actress Tracey Gold is eating again, and HAS MADE A BIG COMEBACK now with a steady gig as an anorexia "expert" on the television program The Insider. As for Tracey's father-in-law...

ROB MARSHALL made a comeback to General Population from Death Row in 2006!

2006 ALSO SAW A COMEBACK FOR JIMMY O'DONNELL, star employee at the Kearney Avenue Information Booth.

TROPICAL STORM ERNESTO ties for worst storm of 2006.

Ernesto's winds were fierce, and..

Sherri Sieling wasn't living La Bonne Vie, the day Ernesto blew her backyard to bits!

The Floods of September 15th, fifteen days after Ernesto, is the other storm in the tie for worst in 2006.

"ONE DAY I'LL FLY AWAY" said Pete years ago when he began his career. A lot of hard work is beginning to pay off, as 2006 was Pete's most prosperous year ever. This meant that Pete could...

pack-up and move out the old apartment he hated onto greener pastures, and Pete could also...

afford a February Florida Holiday, like he'd always dreamed. But it's not all about cute vacation getaways, or....

cruises to fabulous ports of call. Pete works so hard because he's got...

a little Jack Russell Terrier dog to think about and to keep in the lifestyle in which he's become accustomed.

DON'T FORGET....
