Busy week for Station 44....
Not only did Station 44 extinguish a fire in the wall of the rear bungalow at 205 Grant Avenue (coincidentally, Pete's childhood home), but they also...
were dispatched to a submersion call off the bay waters of Lavallette Avenue in Lavallette. Seen on the deck is Asst. Chief Reece Fisher, and in the boat are Brian Dardis, Jessica Paola, and Bob LaSalle.
Todd Larson is seen on the Jet-Ski, and Billy Rumbolo and Station 44 Dive Captain Aaron Deluca (also an active member of the U.S. Coast Guard) are seen in the rescue boat.
Chris Vaz was on the ground, communicating with the Blacksheep Squadron airplanes, seen circling above.
Billy and Aaron's boat later had the unfortunate task of returning the drowned swimmer's body to shore.

Jaws has teeth for Movies on the Beach...
August 3rd's showing of Jaws was the biggest draw for the Thursday night free movies on the beach in Seaside Heights.

Slippery When Wet retains vast popularity...
Bon-Jovi cover band Slippery When Wet, was again the most popular concert of the Monday night free concert series in Seaside Heights. The concert was held at Beachcomber II because of the threat of rain.

STEPHEN RUMBOLO turned 8 on 8/8/06. To celebrate...
friends and family went to Jenkinson's Breakwater Beach in Seaside Heights, and then Stephen got to pick out whatever he wanted at Toys 'R Us.
NOT UNDERWAY THAT DAY, Coastguardsmen Aaron came to help Stephen pick out his gift, which WAS NOT the Chimpanzee or...
the very cool Tonka Coast Guard helicopter.
SO UNTIL NEXT WEEK.. FEEL SAFE HE'LL BE BEHIND BARS UNTIL AT LEAST 2014..Rob Marshall has been re-sentenced to life imprisonment with a possibility for parole after serving 30 years for arranging the 1984 murder of his lovely wife, Maria.
