Busy week in heat for Station 44...
Chief Samarelli is seen at one of the numerous calls last week, which was the hottest week of the year.
On Sunday July 30th, Station 44 was dispatched to Casela's Pizza for the report of a structure fire, which turned out to be a burning electrical wall socket.
THIS MESS FROM A DISCHARGED FIRE EXTINGUISHER was quickly cleaned-up and Casela's re-opened the next day.
The SCUBA team needed water...

Full-time Seaside Heights employees have a new benefit with Carebridge, a company that helps workers with all types of personal and special needs.
Kate Hayes from Carebridge is seen with Seaside Heights Councilwoman Arline Ottoson. Kate told employees that if they needed anything from finding child or elder care to locating someone to walk their dog, Carebridge will help.
Councilwoman Joann Duszczak brought Carebridge to Seaside Heights. She works with the company as part of her job as a benefits coordinator at PSEG in Newark.

EVERYBODY AGREED that the new White Pearl Hotel at 201 Sumner Avenue in Seaside Heights, was beautiful and luxurious.
