A.K.A. RHIANNON'S GRANDMA...MaryAnn Omert is retiring after 40 years as a teacher at Hugh J. Boyd School.

Christmas Installation Dinner at Station 44...
Line Officers and Executive Board members of the Seaside Heights Volunteer Fire Department were sworn-in on the evening of December 9th. From left to right: Chief James Samarelli, 1st Assistant Chief Billy Rumbolo, Lou Urcinole, 2nd Assistant Chief, Warren Harzer, 1st Lieutenant, Ken Roberts, 2nd Lieutenant, Lou Nardone, Dive Captain, Brian Hoffnagle, 3rd Lieutenant, Johnny LaStella, Vice-President, Tony Vaz, President, Guy Mazzanti, Treasurer, and Jessica Paola, Secretary.
In the early morning hours of December 9th, before the party, Station 44 was dispatched to a fire at 36 Sampson Avenue.
Greg Kohr was named Rookie of the Year.
Johnny was "Man of The Year"
Shaun Kenneth was named "Junior of the Year".
Ken Roberts was named, "Officer of the Year".
Lou Nardone was given the honor of "Firefighter of the Year!"
